Stockpile Saturdays

A place where I can share a picture from my awesome Couponing Stockpile each Saturday. Couponing is a big part of my life and I'm very proud of everything I've collected! I am an Extreme Couponer meaning I do have quantities of items that may seem unreasonable to some people.

This Saturday I thought I would show you my hash browns. I stocked up on Instant hashbrowns because Bernie loves them!

My Hashbrowns
I have 32 boxes of Hungry Jack hashbrowns. They're mostly Original hashbrowns though there are a few Cheesy hashbrowns.

Occasionally coupons.com has a $0.50/1 Hungry Jack Hashbrown Potatoes coupon. I used mine at Wegmans where the Hungry Jack Hashbrown Potatoes cost $1.29. The coupon doubles and makes each hashbrown box $0.29 each! $0.29 for an easy breakfast item for Bernie or the boys is an awesome deal in my book!

I can't wait for the coupon to come around again! I have more than enough hashbrowns to last us for awhile but my Dad enjoys them too. Like most of the items in my stockpile I share them with my family. I'm convinced my Mom will go through my entire laundry detergent stock before I even have a chance to use a single bottle! That's a topic for another week!

That's it for this week! I hope you enjoyed seeing my stockpile half as much as I enjoyed showing it to you!

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

Workout Wednesdays

Workout Wednesdays are meant to give myself some inspiration and ideas for working out during the week! I'm trying to become a healthier person one step at a time! One Workout at a time!

Lately I haven't been working out. I've been contemplating the differences between Motivation and Ambition. I have the Motivation but I'm lacking the Ambition to actually getting moving on my journey. I'm also finding myself to be somewhat unwilling to change my habits.

I need to remember "One Step at a time! One Workout at a time!" and I need to tell it to myself everyday! Who knows maybe this mantra will come in handy for other aspects of my life!!

When I do think about working out I think about how bored I get when I use the Elliptical and I'm not even willing to try the Treadmill. On a side note Babe makes fun of me whenever I say Treadmill or Windmill. Not that either of those come up in conversations very often but when your on Vacation in Kingston, MA and there are Windmills all over the place it does comes up. He laughs because I always pronounce them as Treadmeal or Windmeal. "Look at all the Windmeals!" or "You won't catch me on a Treadmeal!" It's just the way I say it! Getting back to working out I've been thinking I would enjoy working out more if I could find a dance workout. I'm still on the hunt for dance workouts so if you know of any good ones please let me know! For now I'm going to try watching some on YouTube.

Some Motivational Words for this week:

"The Only Bad Workout is the one that didn't happen". How True is that! I always feel so upset and angry with myself for not making it more than 15 minutes when I workout. When in reality I worked out for 15 minutes! Oh yeah! 15 minutes is a start and better than nothing! I need to stop being so hard on myself and realize that at least I'm putting effort into it!

"One Step at a time! One Workout at a time!"

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

All About Me Mondays

It's been a few weeks since I've done one of these posts. I still have so much I can tell you about myself (because I'm SOO awesome!!) but I keep finding myself at a loss of words. Or I can't figure out where to start!

This week's interesting fact: I'm left handed! I know that doesn't sound very interesting. I'm one of the only left-handed people in my family. On my Dad's side I'm one of two left-handed people; my cousin Nikki and myself. On my Mom's side I'm one of 3 left handed people; 2 Uncles and myself. My Mom thinks I would probably be right handed if it weren't for the fact that my old babysitter made me write with my left hand.

I do the majority of things with my right hand. Except for of course writing though I have been trying to teach myself to write with my right hand. I get cramps in my left easily so being able to write with my right hand could come in handy ;)

It may not be coming across but I am proud to be left-handed. I also understand a left-handed person's plight. A few week's ago my Mom shared a link with me on Facebook of 23 Soul-Crushing Problems Only Left-Handed People Understand. Not all of the Left-Handed People problems were problems I face because I'm fairly ambidextrous. One of the problems I do face is feeling like society hates me as most products are designed for right handed people. Also I can't stand spiral notebooks or most notebooks for that matter. Though one of the most annoying things about being a left-handed person is Smudge Hand! Or Silver Surfer Hand as the post above calls it! It takes serious concentration to avoid smudging things.

One of the best things about being left handed is that you, well I feel special! There are far more righties in the world than lefties! So as a lefty I feel special! It's also cool to say "Lefties Unite!" We even have our own day! Left-Handers Day is August 13! Whoop Whoop!! We'll have to do something special to celebrate!

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

Thursday Thoughts

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate / referral links.

I’m linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts today.

- My Aunt, Uncle & one of my cousins are coming up this weekend to visit my family back in Cuse. We are all supposed to get together with them for a Picnic on Sunday. It drives me crazy when they only give a few days notice and we're all supposed to drop everything to spend time with them.

- Babe wants to start getting up earlier each morning to workout before work, shower then go to work. I told him that if he woke me up I would join him. We both know that's not going to happen! I do want to join him but I am NOT a morning person!

- There have been some problems with my bank account lately and Babe was finally able to fix it last night. So with any hope I'll be able to get my shopping done in the next few days. I can't wait to use my coupons at Tops. I hope they have all the products I want!

- On our Meal Plan for Tonight is Homemade Mac & Cheese. Roughly 6 1/2 hours until Babe gets home from work & I STILL don't have a recipe for dinner tonight! EEp! What am I going to do? I can't move it to a different night because R is pretty excited and I did that to him the last time it was on our Meal Plan! I'll have to hop on Pinterest! The problem with Pinterest Mac & Cheese recipes is people love to add Ground Mustard. Yuck! Wish me Luck!

- On Monday we (well Babe) made Chicken Parm for dinner. It is so delicious! I told him our Chicken Parm was definitely a Contender for the Best Chicken Parm I've ever had. We talked about what could make it better. Thinner chicken, different bread crumbs and such. It's a dish that takes a lot of effort so we don't make it very often.

Chicken Parm Awesomeness

- I'm hoping I'll finally get around to doing the DIY Hand Dotted Tumblers Project I found on Pinterest last year. I bought the glasses last week at Dollar Tree. There will be a Nailed It! post for them in the future!

-The last few days I've been trying to organize my living room & the Closet of Doom (my stockpile room). It started out well but has just gotten worse and worse! Enough never seems to be enough for me! I even tried to draw up a plan of what the living room looked like and what I wanted to do with it. I got frustrated when my drawing of the living room wasn't drawn to scale. It looked to big! On the bright side all of the food I wanted to move into the living room so it will have a better chance of getting eaten got moved and I managed to free up a lot of storage bins. I also managed to utilize the dresser I got from the Salvation Army. It used to hold all the papers I had on my coffee table and now it holds all my writing utensils and envelopes!

My Dresser

- Besides the organizing craziness I get to look forward to. I've started my Pre-Trip Freak Out early this year! Almost 2 weeks until I leave for Cuse and I've already started mentally over-packing.

That's it for now! What's on your mind?

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

The Moon

Yesterday was Friday the 13th and it was also a Full Moon. Babe told me there won't be another Full Moon on Friday the 13th until 2049. So of course I had to go take pictures of the Moon! My first attempt to go take pictures of the Full Moon did not end well. I couldn't find the Moon!! I walked all around our complex and still couldn't find it. So I went back inside. Babe decided to come look with me and we found the Moon. We couldn't see it enough to take a picture because it was hiding behind some clouds. It was a very cloudy night last night. We decided to go inside and try again later.

Babe and I went back outside after Midnight. The Moon was still hiding behind some clouds so we waited. When the Moon finally came out it was beautiful! For an impatient person like myself I thought it was worth the wait. I started taking lots of pictures. Babe showed me some cool features and effects my camera had and the pictures started turning out more and more awesome!

The Moon

This was one of the first pictures I took of the Moon last night. Simply gorgeous!

Panoramic

This was the first Panoramic picture I took. I took several after this one but I still don't think I've got it down yet. It's certainly a cool feature that I look forward to using in the future!

Pop Art Effect I think

Of the numerous features and effects my camera has to offer there is a Pop Art effect which is what I think this picture is. Either way I love this picture and how clear and bright the Moon looks!

Sparkle Effect

This is the Sparkle Effect and it came out really cool! Second star to the right and straight on to morning!! Is what I think when I look at this picture! :)

Different Exposure Time

Babe changed the Exposure Time on the Camera and I was able to take some really cool pictures like this one! This is one of my absolute favorite pictures of the 36 pictures we took!

I hope I'll be able to remember and take pictures of this awesome sight 35 years from now!

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

For this Saturday I thought I would show you one of the newest additions to my stockpile! My pudding:

My Pudding!

I have 12 Snack Packs of Pudding and I bought them on Thursday at Wegmans. Each Snack Pack cost $1 and I used (4) $0.75/3 Snack Pack coupons which doubled and made each Snack Pack $0.50! I have enough coupons to buy 33 Snack Packs. Babe told me to get 12 packs but if I have more room then I can get more. I have a spot for them in the cabinet but  I just haven't gotten around to putting them away. I'm sure 12 packs is good for now but I may end up buying more before the coupon expires.

I printed the $0.75/3 Snack Pack Pudding coupon from coupons.com which I believe is still available for those who would like to print it. You can print 2 coupons per a computer. Please Remember ** Photo Copying Coupons is Illegal!!**

That's it for this week! I can't wait to show you more of my stockpile!
Do you coupon?

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

For this Saturday I thought I would show all of you my Hamburger Helper. I have 32 boxes of Hamburger Helper & 6 boxes of Chicken Helper.

Some Great Flavors Right There!

My Mom taught me how to make Hamburger Helper in Middle School so I could cook dinner on Wednesday Nights for my sister and I while her and my Dad went to their Weight Watchers meetings. That was my Hamburger Helper beginning. Not that it's the world's greatest meal or anything but I enjoy the taste and it doesn't take a lot of time or effort to make.

The first time Babe made Hamburger Helper for me for dinner was a disaster!! He was making Three Cheese Hamburger Helper which is one of my favorites and he forgot to add the Milk. That particular Helper requires 2 cups of Milk & 1 cup of Water. When it came out it looked bad and tasted bad! The noodles were still hard and the cheese sauce was still powdery and didn't stick well to the meat. I tried but just couldn't and wouldn't eat it. Babe being the resourceful person he is put his Hamburger Helper in a Soft Taco Shell and ate it that way. Both him and his brother thought it tasted great that way. I started supervising him whenever he would make Hamburger Helper and totally ragged on him about it for a long time to come!

My Dad still loves Hamburger Helper so I try and tell him whenever I find a good sale for it. I usually get mine at Tops for $0.50-$0.80 each depending on which coupons I use. I will pay extra money for my favorite flavors that Tops doesn't carry like Tomato Basil Penne.

I could go on and on about Hamburger Helper. About the changes they made in one of their products that truly frustrates me! It was better before man! Leave it alone!! Or about their Chicken Helper and how I've tried one but am apprehensive on trying the rest. So on & etc....

So I'll end it here. I can't wait to show you more of my Stockpile next week!

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)

Workout Wednesdays

Workout Wednesdays are meant to give myself some inspiration and ideas for working out during the week! I'm trying to become a healthier person one step at a time! One Workout at a time!

This week I'm on vacation in Cape Cod with Babe & his family. We've been keeping busy everyday trying to get all the activities we want to do done. For our Workout this week we're going Kayaking. I'm very excited as I've enjoyed the few times I've done it in the past. At the same time I'm nervous because I don't have amazing upper body strength. Despite my reservations I know I'll have a great time! Maybe I'll even be able to take some pictures as my camera is waterproof up to so many feet.

Some Motivational words to help me through my journey to becoming a healthier person:

I get depressed whenever I hop on the scale and see my stupid weight. It's just a number! A number that doesn't control my self-worth or my happiness! This is definitely something for me to keep in mind!

What kind of Workouts have you been doing?

Until Next Time! Stay Beautiful :)
